What we do
We are specialised in manufacturing small plastic repair/spare parts, mostly for, but not limited to car parts. We aim to make better and longer lasting parts than the original ones.
How and why we do
As the founder of this business, I perform and enjoy all technical fields within my company from reverse engineering, product development, CAD/CAM engineering through product manufacturing/testing, and keeping in touch with my customers.
Also, I see sustainability as an increasingly important aspect... Global consumption and overproduction is partially caused by mass manufacturing devices that don't last long, and often need to be scrapped due to a tiny little broken part which cannot be serviced.
Our contribution to sustainability is to help maintain existing vehicles and machines by providing reliable and affordable spare parts that would not be available otherwise, or be too expensive.
How it began
I came from the information technology field, but was always keen to learn and willing to create physical products that not only fulfil a purpose, but are in themselves aesthetic objects and items of high quality. I left a promising IT career in 2012 and started to base my business. Had an interesting learning curve with its ups and downs, lots of experimentation with reverse engineering, 3D printing, thermosetting resins and fibre reinforcements, silicone rubber systems, CNC machining, and precision micro injection molding. I prefer designing and manufacturing my own tools and machines, including CNC machinery and injection molding equipment as well.
The first few commercial products we manufactured were odometer gears for Audi VDO odometers, and our dedication to quality kept attracting more customers with newer and newer product ideas and requests, leading us to develop and manufacture more than 50 distinct gear types over the span of a few years.
Where are we?
Our office and lab is near a small town Tata in Hungary (Europe), this is where all our products are manufactured and shipped.
Even if we are not in your neighborhood, don't let that deter you, we are well accustomed to working with customers all over the globe.
